Going Gaga on Christmas Gifts. Hunting for Christmas gifts is absolutely fun but can be extremely physically tiring as well. This year, it was way too intense. lol My sisters and I take Christmas shopping way too seriously. haha But I guess that’s just us (and because Christmas comes only once a year). It would take days, or maybe even weeks for us to find gifts. We tend to really want the best for our friends, relatives and godchildren (and NO not the most expensive ones). The decision-making process is just kept in suspense. Yikes! So we basically have been to every single mall known in Cebu, scouting gift ideas. lol That’s what makes it fun for us (including the fast food breaks in between =p). Anyway, the 68 gifts in the photo are actually only from my sister, Pamela. They’re for her co-teachers slash friends, godchildren and students. When it comes to gift-givings, she’s the “galante” one. And Kate is the ”practical and simple” one. I’d like to think I’m the humorous slash fun giver. But I think I’m just delusional. lol So in our annual family Kris Kringle, we each secretly wish Pamela pulls our name out. =D
Ultimately, we love giving gifts, we love receiving them as well. But we do try to remind ourselves the truest essence of Christmas and whut we faithfully celebrate during this season. Reality is, there are a lot of superficial things that can never replace the most genuine, priceless things in the world. =)
